    Plenty of Blue light makes an aquarium beautiful. But as I realised later, it is also a perfect environment for Algae. Once it was there it was almost impossible to remove it. Scrubbed the aquarium, increased water change frequency and cleaned with Salt, but to no avail. Algae would return in 7 days.Used the solution with recommended 14 drops. Now the water is clear and no algae even after 7 days. My fish is in same tank even after adding the solution and noticed no ill effects so far.

OZPOLISH De Algae – Aquarium liquid algae remover/ scraper:

OZPOLISH De Algae is specifically meant to clean algae in planted or non-planted aquariums. Overexposure to lights and over availability of nutrients are the two most common reasons for the algae boom in captive water. If not treated on time it may severely impact underwater lives, including plants and fish. Algae-free tanks or tanks with almost no algae look stunningly beautiful.

BENEFITS

  • Could kill several algae such as green algae, brown algae, black algae, black beard algae, etc.
  • Clean up the greenish or brownish aquarium water, which is due to the algae presence.

  • Tank Secret# 1. Algae almost to zero: OZPOLISH De Algae when used regularly, helps in controlling Hair Algae, Green/ Brown/ Blue-Green, and even Black Beard Algae. Make sure the tank has good uni-directional circulating water flow. In case of heavy algae infestation, manual scrubbing is needed, followed by a half tank water change and then regular weekly dosing of OZpolish De Algae. Use it in a combination of OZpolish O2 to eradicate Cyanobacteria/ Blue-Green Algae out of the tank. Aquatic flora and fauna better thrive in less algae water!
  • Tank Secret# 2. Clean & clear planted fish tanks: OZPOLISH De Algae removes greenish/ brownish water coloration by killing algae. The natural color of the water is as clear as air!
  • Tank Secret# 3. Safe input: OZPOLISH De Algae is safe for fishes, snails, shrimps, turtles, aquatic plants, terrestrial pets, and humans. The dosage needs to be ensured as instructed. Ensure Safety Precautions, as mentioned below. Safe ways to kill algae!

Usage– Drops over aquarium water.

Advised way to dose OZPOLISH De Algae

Instruction– 2 drops, every 3 liters of water weekly or at every water change. We recommend diluting one portion of OZPOLISH De Algae with 10 portions of RO/ distilled water (e.g. 10 ml of distilled water and 1 ml of OZPOLISH De Algae) and adding that solution to the tank water.

Safety Precautions–

  • DO NOT OVERDOSE. Overdose will not give more or fast results.
  • Not recommended when the dwellers are loaches, otocinclus, corydoras catfish and all other catfishes, knife fish, eels, and ropefish, or for any other scale-less fishes.
  • Not to be used in fish bowls with no water circulation mechanism.
  • When used as recommended, OZPOLISH De Algae has been found to be safe for plants, scaled fishes, shrimps, snails, and turtles. If you have any invertebrates, such as shrimps in your tank, we, however, advise reducing the dose by half and applying it near the filter outlet.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

    Works on BBA? –

    BBAs are stubborn algae. A mild infestation could be controlled through OZPOLISH De Algae. If it is heavily infested; please remove the object/ surface on which algae is there, cut the leaves covered through BBA, etc. and try to clean the tank as much as possible. Then dosing the OZPOLISH De Algae could be able to control the growth of any leftover (existing) BBA or growth of any new BBA. This is only in case of BBA, but different tank will have different responses.

    I bought the product and used as per directions correctly for black algae, but there's no improvement in my tank as it passed above 10 days. what çan i do? –

    OZPOLISH De Algae is a mild algaecide in concentrated form. This means it is potent to kill most of the algae. However, it won\'t be able to prevent the growth of new algae in the tank. To control the growth of new algae, please reduce the photo (light) duration and in the planted tank, if possible, increase the CO2 input. Ensure the fish/ shrimp food leftovers are not there. They could be nutrient sources for algae. Alternately, to control the growth of any new algae OZPOLISH Bio-Cure (any variant for aquariums) could be used.

    Can i use it along with gil fungus parasite medicine? –

    Use one input at a time. Please use OZPOLISH De Algae only when you\'re NOT using any non-OZPOLISH products. OZPOLISH products are not tested with any non-OZPOLISH product. You may do the gills treatment first, and once it is resolved you may start treating algae through OZPOLISH De Algae.
